MBF Free Delivery

Delivery is free within a 15 mile radius of the DL8 postcode area [check here]. Upon delivery, a free stacking service is available if required. Delivery costs for over 15 miles start from £20, please call us for more info.

Here at MBF Logs, we produce 10 inch logs as standard but can also offer 8 inch logs and are happy to discuss any specific requirements

Why can’t I order my logs on your website?

We prefer to speak to our customers first in order to understand any specific requirements and ensure we’re meeting all of your needs. This also allows us to arrange a delivery time to suit you.

Are your logs right for me?

Our hardwood logs are suitable for log burners, open fires and fire pits etc. They are 10 inches (25cm) as standard but we can also provide 8 inch (20cm) logs and are happy to discuss special requests.

Are your logs good quality?

All of our logs are subject to stringent quality control and meet the Woodsure Ready to Burn Scheme standards. Efficient timber processing ensures that production costs are kept as low as possible, without compromising on quality, meaning we can reflect these savings in our low price to you.

Where do you get your timber from?

All of our timber is hardwood species from managed estates and is sourced as close to home as possible to minimise our carbon footprint.

How do you dry your logs?

All of our timber stands outside for a year, then is cut into logs. The logs are then stored in a barn to finish the drying process, a longer but natural method ensuring a quality product to a similar, or even higher, standard as kiln dried logs.

How will you deliver my logs?

Delivery is made by van at a time to suit you, to ensure logs are not left out to get wet or left in your way. The logs are transferred from the van and transported to your store area where they are stacked for no additional charge.

How should I store my logs?

Ideally your logs should be stored in a well ventilated area, under cover and off the floor to ensure they remain dry.
